The Millennium Project is a global, participatory think tank organised as an NGO, and focuses on examining future questions.
Z_punkt has been involved in the Project’s overall research activities since 2001. Since 2003, we have headed the Project’s German Node which unites representatives of major German futures research institutions.
The purpose of the Millennium Project is to integrate experts from corporations, universities, NGOs, UN organisations, and governments, and to research, in a participatory process, how global change can be designed for sustainability in the future.
The "State of the Future Report" is the annual publication of the results of the Millennium Project. It looks at specific issues and presents, in mid to long-term scenarios, information on both current global challenges and existing and future trends.
